Services and full military honors were held at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Mesa, Ariz., for former Bedford resident, John L. Fiddler, 57, of Gilbert, Ariz., who died Jan. 23. Born in Bedford, he was the son of Walter and Vera (Quillen) Fiddler. He married his wife, Sherry, in 1964. A graduate of Shawswick High School and Indiana University, he served as a helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. He was employed by General Motors Powertrain (Central Foundry Division) and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church while residing i n Bedford. He had been a corporate personnel director. Surviving are his wife, Sherry Fiddler of Gilbert, Ariz.; one daughter, Stacey Fiddler of Portland, Ore.; one son, John L.
