More detail on this person: Donald W. FUCHS Age 68 Of Andover Passed away peacefully Jan. 10, 2013. Preceded in death by parents Marion and Willard Fuchs. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Cindy (Everhart); children, Chere Tetzloff (Paul) and Randy Fuchs; sisters Carol Jarpe and Arleen Chenvert (Jack); aunt, Gertie Dumont; nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, he was a helicopter pilot in the army, served in Vietnam, and then began a 31 year career with Weyerhaeuser Company. After retirement he enjoyed his time at his lake home on Big Sandy Lake. Don loved fishing, hunting, woodworking, travelling and spending time with family and friends. A very special thank you to Dr. David King and his compassionate staff at Minnesota Oncology. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday January 13 at Zion Lutheran Church 1601 4th Ave, Anoka, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior. Memorials preferred to the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota.
