More detail on this person: Tyler Lee Folsom, Sr.,71, of O'Brien, FL, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Fl. The Mayo, FL native moved to O'Brien 15 years ago from Mayo, Fl. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam Era, a member of the American Legion, Mayo, Fl, a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilot Association and of Baptist faith. Mr. Folsom is survived by his wife of 48 years: Karen R. Folsom, O’Brien, Fl; Two sons: Tyler (Emily) Folsom, Suwannee County, Fl and Eric (Yvonne) Folsom, Fort Walton Beach, Fl; One sister: Gail (Frank) Garrard, Mayo, Fl; Two brothers: Manuel (Frances) Folsom, Sr. and Walter (Ruth) Folsom, Sr. both of Mayo, Fl; Five grandchildren: Hunter, Wesley, Kady, Michael and Leah Folsom. He was preceded in death by sisters: Mary Bates and Frankie Nail; Brothers: Paremore Folsom, Jr. and Filmore Folsom. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 17th at Daniels Memorial Chapel, Branford, FL. A visitation will be prior to the service from 10 - 11 am.
