Farlow, 57 FEB. 10, 1947 _ NOV. 14, 2004 CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas _ David Kent Farlow, 57, formerly of Bloomington, died at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, at Doctor's Regional Hospital in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born Feb. 10, 1947, in Kokomo, a son of Bob and Lucille. He graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1965 and Indiana University in 1976. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and a retired Army helicopter pilot, having attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four. He was also an avid country western dancer and joke teller. He is survived by Darby Herborn, Corpus Christi; his parents, Ward Robert and B. Lucille (Morrison), Kokomo; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Adam Benjamin and Bonnie Rule, London, England, and Alexander Matthew, New York, NY; a brother and sister-in-law, Allen R. and Barbara J., Tipton; a sister, Janell Kay Hunter, Tipton; two grandchildren, Thomas Rule and Lillian Claire; an aunt, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hemlock Friends Church, 4448 E. State Route 26, Hemlock, IN. The Pastor Butch Hart will officiate. He will be buried with full military honors at Marion National Cemetery in the following week. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
