More detail on this person: UNION - Mr. Thomas John Flood, 68, 1727 Meansville Road, Union, SC, died Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Mr Flood was born April 3, 1950, a son of the late Thomas Vincent and Ann Hoops Flood. He was also predeceased by a sister, Eileen Ann Marie Flood. Mr. Flood was a Veteran of the US Military having served in the Army. Survivors include one son, Thomas H. Flood (Spring) of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Amy Jo Flood of Pennsylvania, Carrie R.B. Chatterton (Jeremy) of Virginia; two brothers, Dr. John Flood and wife Melissa, Arthur Flood; one sister, Maureen Flood, all of Union; and ten grandchildren, Malia Chatterton, J.J. Chatterton, Maverick Lozano, Reba Chatterton, Alex Flood, Laura Flood, Thomas Flood, Elizabeth Flood, Fatima Whaley, and Hanna Whaley. Memorial Mass will be held Sunday, April 8, at 1 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Asheboro, N.C. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. The family is at the home of his brother, Dr. John and Melissa Flood, 105 Heritage Way, Union, SC 29379. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust; cst.dav.org/donate.
