More detail on this person: Gerald Steven Forman, 76, of Hardeeville, SC passed away Friday, March 26, 2021. He was born on August 3, 1944 in Trenton, NJ to the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo and Ruth Lewin Forman. Mr. Forman served in the U.S. Army as a Blackhawk pilot during Vietnam and as a Safety Officer for The Air Calvary. During his service, he attained the rank of Captain and was awarded a Bronze Star and an Air Medal. After serving in the Army, Mr. Forman worked as a CPA. He was a rigorous debater, loved playing chess, cards, golf, and fishing. He never met a stranger and was known by those who knew him best as "Grandpa Kiki"; Gerald was a friend to all. Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Mark Forman (Claudia) and Craig Forman (JoAnne) and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Andy Forman. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon, on Thursday, April 1, 2021at Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601Boundary Street, Beaufort, SC 29902.
