More detail on this person: Alvin Cecil "'Joe'" Freeman He was preceded in death by his parents. Herschel Thomas and Fannie Wiggins Freeman. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army, having obtained the rating of CW4. Survivors include his wife, Diane McKillip Freeman of Cullman; a son, Joshua (Aubrey) Freeman of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah Grace and Elizabeth; a brother, Richard Freeman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two sisters, Helen Orr of Crane Hill and Carol Livingston of Asheville, N.C.
