More detail on this person: Lt. Colonel Jesse R. Forbes Retired Lt. Colonel Jesse R. Forbes of Reston, Va., went to his eternal rest on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at his home. Service will be held Friday, March 27, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, 21673 Beaumede Circle, Asburn, Va. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Ernest T. Forbes and Ruby R. Forbes; and a brother, William Forbes of Newark, N.J. Surviving are his devoted wife, Ernestyne T. Forbes; four children; ten grandchildren; a great-grandchild; four brothers, James E. Forbes and wife, Vicky, of Baltimore, Earl Flynn Forbes and wife, Sheryl, of Grifton, Langston C. Forbes and Calvin L. Forbes of Greenville; three sisters, Gwendelyn Patricia Spain, Elder Ruby Forbes Toodle and Elder Barbara L. Dyer of Greenville. Memorial contributions are being requested to Capitol Hospice.
