Basil is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joan Freeman; son, Basil Dexter Freeman, Jr.; daughters, Angelia Freeman ,and Jaymi Freeman; brother, William Freeman; sister, Bobbie Jo Turnbo; grandchildren, Tabitha, Jade and, Marshall Freeman. All arrangements were handled under the trusted care of Neal Funeral Home.
