More detail on this person: Ronald Chambers Frier Jr. COLUMBIA -- Ronald Chambers Frier Jr., U.S. Army (Ret.), 69, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. June 27, 2008, in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210. Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, is assisting the family locally. Mr. Frier was married to the late Catherine Kay Kubis Frier. Born in Roanoke, Va., he was the son of Ronald Chambers Frier and Virginia Brown Frier. Mr. Frier retired as a Major with the U.S. Army. He was a member of SCLEOA and was a Master Mason. Surviving are daughter, Kimberly A. Frier of Reno, Nev.; two half sisters, Dorian Rusty Goodman of Miami, Fla., and Camille Custer of Roanoke, Va.; and two half brothers, Ric Bays of Miami, Fla., and Dana Ferguson of Baltimore, Md.
