More detail on this person: Seth Joseph Ferrara IV, 80, pased away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Seth was born in Charleston, South Carolina, and was a proud graduate of Clemson University. He honorably served in the U.S. Army, completing two tours in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. In 1980, Seth moved his family to Huntsville, Alabama, and retired from the Army in 1985 with the rank of Major. Following his military career, he excelled as a real estate appraiser and later contributed to several contractors supporting NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center. Seth was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Fox Ferrara, and his parents, Seth J. Ferrara III and Betty J. Ferrara of Charleston, SC. He is lovingly remembered by his sons, Paul Ferrara and wife Melek, Greg Ferrara and wife Sharon, and his cherished grandson, Andrew Ferrara. He also leaves behind his siblings: Thomas, Robert, James, Elaine Benton, and Katrina Harmon. Seth's legacy of service, love for family, and commitment to his country will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
