More detail on this person: Daniel L. Foley Foley, Daniel L. TROY Daniel L. Foley, 58, of Pinewoods Ave., Brunswick, died suddenly on November 1, 2007 at his residence. Born in Hartford, Conn. he was the son of the late Patrick and Mary (Tetreault) Foley. Daniel served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1970-77. He was a helicopter pilot in Viet Nam and flew a CH-46 Chinook. While serving his country, Dan received numerous citations and commendations including the Gallantry Cross with Palm, and the Vietnamese service metal with Palm. After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, he moved to the Troy area where he worked at various jobs until his death. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. from the William J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. Burial will be in the Saratoga National Cemetery in Saratoga at 1:00 p.m. with full military honors
