p.m. Wednesday at White Chapel United Methodist
Church. Born Sept. 27, 1943, in Fort Worth to
Finis and Margaret Fox, Tom spent most of his
childhood in Atlanta, Ga., but claimed Texas by
birth and destiny. Tom graduated from SMU and
served in Vietnam with the 123rd Aviation
Battalion as an aircraft commander for Apache
gunships and Huey helicopters. He was awarded
several accommodations including the
Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with
Valor. Tom worked for Eastern Airlines as a sales
executive before leaving to open Crossroads Travel
and then the larger Centerpoint Travel in
Arlington. Tom was a kind, loving husband, father
and friend. He loved his family, traveling with
his wife, Patrecia, and working in the yard. He
was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be greatly
missed by his family. Survivors: Wife of 35 years,
Patrecia; daughter, Suzanne; son, Thomas and
wife, Elisa; daughter, Danielle; daughter, Beth
and husband, Shane; grandchildren, Taggart, Sadler
and Lauren; and nieces, Cathy Craft and husband,
Terry, Deborah Kopf and husband, Steve.
