More detail on this person: WO Marion C. Farrar was a friend long ago at Ft, Benning, Ga. He and I arrived there about the same time and attended a unit welcome party with our wives. I was made safety officer after a stint as admin off. in 1969. I was at a training course at Rucker at end of Aug/early Sept when Mike was killed in UH-1accident while training with Ranger students out near the center of the reservation. He was taking off from a confined area in pine forest when he saw another aircraft and attempted to abort his T/O the aircraft crashed into the trees. He and the co-pilot and I think a crewman all died of injuries.
