More detail on this person: We were stick mates in tactics at Rucker. He had a medical problem which caused him to graduate with my class. We arrived in country together and were both assigned to A/101. He was a senior Captain and was Flt Plt leader during my stint as Operations Officer. He and I both went over to 1st Brigade aviation when A Co became Cav in Dec 69. He was S3 Air for the 1st Brigade until we DEROS in May 70. He took an RPG covering me at Tiger Mountain in a white team. I went in and pulled he and his observer out. We shooked and rattled all the way back to Eagle with four cobras in support. Had to land on sandbags because to skids were gone.
