More detail on this person: Oscar Fleshman Oscar Fleshman, 61, of Brundidge died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001 at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery. The funeral will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001 at Brundidge United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Spikes officiating. Burial will be at Daleville Memorial Cemetery in Daleville with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Pallbearers will be Don Dickert, Loyd Harrison, Francis Hoffman, Robert McLendon, Charles Taylor, Jack Taylor and Charles Walker. Mr. Fleshman retired from the U.S. Army as a CWO3 officer after 26-and-a-half years as a pilot in the Army. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Hoffman Fleshman. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Faye Fleshman of Brundidge; three daughters and sons-in-law: Diane F. and Rob Lewis of Pensacola, Fla., Barbara F. and Billy Long of Daleville, Wendolyn F. and Taylor of Pike Road; two sons and daughter-in-law, Randy and Mary Taylor of Tuscaloosa and Keith Taylor of Pensacola; brother, Richard Fleshman of Lewisburg, W.V. and six grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., today and there will be a 30-minute lie-in-state prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brundidge United Methodist Church Bus Fund.
