Some additional information about CPT Randall W Ford:

My brother died at age 23 July 29, 1970 in San Diego by a hit and run driver while hitch hiking alone.

His first tour flying helicopters in Vietnam was from June 1968 - June 1969.

He then served as an instructor at Ft Rucker from June 1969 - to June 1970.

He was on leave visiting our mother and was killed the night before reporting for duty for his second Vietnam tour. Our brother Bruce D Ford was serving in the Army in Vietnam at the time.

I am wondering what the connection between Patrick J Ronan is and how he knew the details of my brother's death. I was not aware of the nickname 'Gabby'.

Almost 40 years later, Randy is still greatly missed.
