More detail on this person: James Albert Frick Sr. James Albert Frick Sr. of Ellicott City died March 8 at Howard County General Hospital. He was 69. Col. Frick, who was born in 1933 in Baltimore, graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1958. He was a colonel in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Carole Ann Frick, son, James Albert Frick Jr., daughter, Denise Kim Frick, brother, Stanley Joseph Frick, and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, John Stanley and Marian Loretta Dillon Frick. A funeral took place March 13 at Slack Funeral Home in Ellicott City. Burial is scheduled at Arlington National Cemetery April 1. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association of Maryland, 1840 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
