Born in Boston, a son of the late George A. and Ursula H. (Shea) Frankenberger. He had resided in Cherry Hill, NJ before moving to Seekonk 10 years. ago. Paul was a graduate of Boston College and received his masters degree in International and Political Affairs at George Washington University through the Naval War College. He was a Vietnam veteran and had served in the Marine Corps and the Navy for 30 years until retiring. Paul was a Diplomat, a Naval Aviator and a highly decorated Naval Commander. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Besides his wife of 51 years, he leaves his 5 children, Deborah A. Uitvlucht, Dawna M., Paul F. Jr., Peter F. and Denise A. Frankenberger; brother of Ann Fardon, Mary Louise Remon, Martha, George A., and the late John Frankenberger; grandfather of Aidan, Anna and Charlie; uncle of many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Leo the Great, 699 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Visitation Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. If desired, gifts may be made to the Monastery of St. Clare, 920 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
