More detail on this person: Obituary for William Thomas Foley Foley, William T., "Bill", 71 passed away on September 23, 2015. He was born in Warren, Ohio and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1962. Bill served with the SEAWOLVES of HAL-3 as a Navy helicopter pilot. He received the bronze star and 36 accommodations [Air Medals]. Bill attended St. Petersburg Junior College, graduated from the University of West Florida, received an MBA from University of South Florida, was a CPA, and a retired accounting professor from St. Leo University. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Anna Louise (Hickey) Foley, brother James Foley, and son Shannon Foley. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; son Thomas; daughter Karen (Joshua, Matthew, Rachel, Hannah); son William Warren Greico; daughter Maria Greico and husband Alan Lawton (Kyle, Ethan); son Paul Greico and wife Jessica (Serena, Cruz); son Bobby Greico and wife Lilly (Christian, Sebastian, Nathan). He is also survived by his two sisters, Karen Foley and Charlene Bolyard (Chuck) and many loving nieces and nephews. Bill was a faithful and devoted Roman Catholic, and an active member of his parish, St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. He completed the Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute, placing his emphasis on prison ministry. Bill also served on the Diocesan Pastoral Council and the parish Pastoral Council. Bill had a deep love of the scripture and served as a small group bible study leader, Eucharistic minister, Curisillo, reader, RCIA Catchiest, Christ Renew His Parish (CRHP) member, and various other ministries. A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, October 10 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in New Tampa. Interment will take place on Monday, October 12 at 9:00 AM at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. To celebrate Bill's heart of service and in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, a charity of your choice or participate in an act of kindness!
