More detail on this person: Gary Henry Guerrero, originally of St. Louis, passed away December 16, 2011. He was 63. Gary served as an Army Special Operations helicopter pilot in Vietnam where he earned the Silver Star, the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart. He retired from the Army at the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four after 21 years of service. Following his Army career, Gary worked as a helicopter pilot around the world. He retired in 2008 from Chevron where he held the position of Chief Pilot in Angola, Africa. Gary enjoyed cooking, telling jokes, and spending time with family. Gary is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah; three sisters - Patricia Andrews, Betty Tisius, and Sharon Buckner; two daughters - Britt Guerrero and Sarah Guerrero Mraz; son-in-law, Steve Mraz; and three grandchildren - Jack Henry, Evie Maxine, and Leo Thomas.
