More detail on this person: Richard Everett Gardner A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2001, in Bateman-Carroll Funeral Chapel for Richard Everett Gardner, who died March 10 at age 53. Mr. Gardner was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Ashland. He served in the U.S. Army, including service in Vietnam, and later served for 20 years in the Oregon National Guard. He moved to Gresham in 1969 and was a real estate agent. In 1969, he married Kay Rold. Survivors include his wife; son, Jared; mother, Fay; and sisters, Mary Rossman and Marceil Whitney. Remembrances to the American Diabetes Association.
