More detail on this person: James Otis Goldsberry was born on April 28, 1933 at Newman, Illinois, the son of Ephriam and Mary Lois Goldsberry, and passed away on November 27, 2019 at the age of 86 years. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, one (1) daughter Rebecca Lynn Homann, three (3) brothers Ralph Eugene Goldsberry, Ephriam Goldsberry Jr., George Frederick Goldsberry, and one (1) sister Mary Jane Rowley. Jim is survived by his wife Peggy Goldsberry who he married on December 25, 1953 at Villa Grove, Illinois Christian Church, two (2) sons James (Jean) Goldsberry Jr., Dale (Tammy) Goldsberry, six (6) grandchildren Michael Goldsberry, Sue Ann (Nick) Cochran, Jennifer (John) Meyer, Theresa (Patrick) Beezley, Jamie (Brandon) Brummett, Ty Alexander, and nine (9) great-grandchildren A.J., Beau, Brynlee, Willow, Flora, Hannah, Aaron, Dillon, and Kayden. Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran that served in Korera and Vietnam, he was active with Mason's and Shriners, was of the Christian Faith, and enjoyed hunting, horseback riding, family, traveling, camping, and helping people.
