More detail on this person: Memorial Services for 72 year old Richard "Rick" Gill of Kuttawa will be held at a later date. King's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. SURVIVORS: Mother: Gilda R. Gill, Kuttawa, KY; Wife of 45 years: Patricia Gill, Kuttawa, KY; Sons: Chris Gill, Orlando, FL; Greg Gill, Adams, TN; Daughters & Sons-in-Law: Tiffany Hicks (Harold), Weatherford, TX; Diane Whitley (Darren), RSM, CA; Heather Hull (Terry), Portland, TX; Brother & Sister-In-Law: James M. Gill (Pat), Myrtle Beach, SC; 15 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren. He was born in Elyria, OH on January 25, 1947 to Gilda R. Gill of Kuttawa, KY and the late James Arthur Gill. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Terence "Terry" Gill. He died Friday, November 15, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was a Retired Lieutenant Colonel from the US Army having served at Fort Campbell, Korea, Fort Polk and Fort Rucker and was a Helicopter Pilot in Vietnam and Dessert Storm. He was a member of the American Legion where he served as Post Commander and served on the American Legion Baseball Board, a member of the St. Mark's Catholic Church in Eddyville where he served as Chairman of the Parish Council. King's Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
