More detail on this person: Samuel Ennis Glover, 78, passed away on December 31, 2020. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Md. Sam was a very loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother. In the Spring of 1965, after graduating college, Sam married Lynne Sharpe. This past June, Sam and Lynne celebrated 55 years of marriage together. Sam proudly served his country as an aviator in the U.S. Navy. He started his Navy career flying helicopters, transitioned to jets and ultimately reached the rank of Commander (CDR). Sam served in Vietnam flying many missions off the USS Enterprise. He always reflected on his military career fondly and with great pride. In the mid 1970's Sam and his family returned to Baltimore. He worked with his father to help operate and eventually own Chieftain Pontiac GMC in Lutherville, MD. Sam, by example, imparted the virtues of hard work, honesty and compassion towards others. Sam enjoyed boating, fishing and of course, cars and motorcycles. He loved to laugh. Sam is survived by his wife: Lynne, Sons: Chris and Scott, Grandchildren: Kelley, Keith, Adrienne and Willa and Sisters: Bonnie and Debbie. Sam Glover was one-of-a-kind!
