More detail on this person: Terrence Gese of
Spokane passed away June 27 surrounded by
family and friends. He was 64 years old. Mr. Gese
was born August 14, 1949 in Minot, ND. He was the
proud son of Bernard and Bernice Gese. Mr. Gese
proudly served his country in the U.S. Army as a
CW4 medevac helicopter pilot during Vietnam and
received a Purple Heart, along with countless
other medals during his service. He also served
his community as Captain of Paramedics with
Spokane Valley Fire Department. He retired after
33 years of dedicated service. Mr. Gese is
survived by his wife of 41 years, Debbie; sons,
Christopher (Brandi) and Ryan Gese; two beautiful
granddaughters: Trinity and Anabelle, whom he
loved to the moon and back; his mother, Bernice;
four sisters; and three brothers. He was preceded
in death by his father, Bernard Gese. A visitation
will be held Friday, July 11, 2014 from 3-7:00 pm
with a Vigil Service starting at 7:00 pm at
Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home; 2203 N. Division,
Spokane, WA. Mass will take place Saturday, July
12, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas More Catholic
Church; 505 W. St. Thomas More Way, Spokane,
