More detail on this person: Michael Dee "Mike" Green passed away in his North Richland Hills home on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at the age of 71. Service: 3:30 p.rn. Monday at Greenwood Chapel with Chap lain Paul Davis officiating. Burial:Greenwood Memorial Park at a later date. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.rn. Sunday at Greenwood Chapel. Mike was born in Marion, Ind.,to William T.Green and Delight Dee Oyler Green on June 18, 1946. Mike received his associate degree from Mclennan Community Col lege in Waco. He served with the First Cavalry Division as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam from 1967-1968 and as an instructor at Fort Wolters from 1968-1969. He earned the Bronze Star, Air Medal with 36 oakleaf clusters, the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and a Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association. He had retired frorn Quick Wash Coin Services after 30-years as a supervisor. Mike was predeceased by his parents, William T. Green and Delight Dee Oyler Green; his first wife, Linda Sue McMullen Green; and a son, Jasper Lynn Green. Survivors: He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Woolaver Green, of seven years; sons, Thomas Delbert Green, Kalynn Deon Green, Michael Shae Green and wife, Marianne; grandchildren, Brandon and wife, Stephanie, Cindel, Kaylie, Darrion, Matthew, Jeremy, and Blaze; cousin, Sue Burnsworth and her husband, Larry, of Marion, Ind.; and many other friends and family.
