More detail on this person: Gerald 'Lynn' Goucher Gerald "Lynn" Goucher, 64, retired helicopter pilot and night manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Lynn was born May 9, 1944 in St. Joseph, Mo., and served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot. He graduated from Augusta High School. Later he was married to Vickie Maria Gaspard in Patterson, La., on Feb. 8, 1978. A memorial service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Victory Worship Center, 1924 Dearborn in Augusta. Survivors: spouse, Vickie of El Dorado; sons, Gerald Goucher, Dothan, Alabama, Marcus Goucher, El Dorado; daughters, Regina (William) Kearney, El Dorado, Julia Goucher, Towanda; sisters, Bert (Trini) Alfaro and Lois (Olen) Chance both of Augusta, and Kay (ArWayne) Hill, Home City, Kansas; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Gerald Eustice and Ella Rachael (Carr) Goucher Blythe; brother, Donald Goucher; sister Geraldine "Geri" Burger; and step-father, George Blythe. Services entrusted to Dunsford~Zeiner Funeral Home, Augusta. Memorials designated to the Kansas Veterans Family Reunion Fund in care of the funeral home.
