Survivors: Daughter, Myrna (Jim) Ellington of Ulysses, KS; son Dwight Daniel Grimm of San Antonio, TX; two sisters of Willow Lake, SD; three brothers, and a sister-in-law, Betty Grim of Willow Lake, SD. He had prior service in the U.S. Navy. Awards and decorations include two Purple Hearts and a DFC for Vietnam War service.
