Galloway, 64, a native and resident of Morgan City, died Saturday, September 1, 2007, at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. Willie proudly served his country in the United States Army as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam Conflict. At the time of his death, Will was Operations Manager for Fleet Operators Inc. He is the son of the late Ashley Galloway Sr. and Birdie Kalberg of Morgan City. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Wendy Kiffe Galloway of Morgan City; his two sons, Kevin Galloway and his wife, Kim, of Denham Springs and Gatlin W. Galloway of Morgan City; one daughter, Heather Galloway Darce and her husband, Robert "Robbie," of Berwick; one brother, Ashley Galloway of Morgan City; his sister, Jean Wilson and her husband, Bill, of Temple, Texas; and three grandchildren, Splendid, Dakota and Karlie Galloway of Denham Springs. Funeral services were held this morning at Hargrave Funeral Home in Morgan City. Burial in the Morgan City Cemetery was with full military honors, courtesy of the East St. Mary Veterans Funeral Squad in honor of their fallen comrade. He is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law.
