He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Margarita Garcia; a sister, Hilda Rodriguez; and a brother, Emilio Garcia. He is survived by two sisters, Gloria (Bobby) Caraway of Corpus Christi, Texas and Nelda De La Garza of Chandler, Arizona; a brother, Ruben (Lucia) Garcia of Corpus Christi, Texas; and 25 nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, August 25, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Trevi?o Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port, with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A chapel service will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Trevi?o Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
