More detail on this person: Andrew Ernest Gallick AL United States Retired CW3 Andrew Ernest Gallick of Enterprise died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006, in Holly Springs, Ga., near Atlanta from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 71. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, from the Chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark. The family will receive friends in the chapel Friday one hour prior to services. Flowers will be accepted. Mr. Gallick was born June 11, 1935 in Rochester, Penn., to the late Andrew Joseph Gallick and Sophia Erenstein Gallick. He served our country for 21 years in the U.S. Army. He was a Korean War Veteran and served two tours in Vietnam. He was the recipient of many service medals including the Meritous Service Medal; Korean Service Medal; National Defense Service Medal w/ Oak Leaf Cluster; Good Conduct Medal; Army Aviator Badge; Air Medal 1st-51st Award; Vietnam Service Medal; Vietnam Campaign Medal; Armed Forces Reserve Medal; Vietnam Gallantry Cross; and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. Mr. Gallick also enjoyed flying, motorcycles, competitive shooting and sailing; he even built his own boat. He was an entrepreneur and small business owner in the area. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends. Surviving family include his wife, Donna Dalena Gallick, of Enterprise; daughter, Sheryl Ann Jackson, and husband, Scott, of Enterprise; son, Mark Vinton Gallick, and wife, Natasha, of Dunedin, Fla.; four granddaughters, Taylor Ella Jackson, Cara Ann Jackson, Emma Nicole Gallick and Elise Florence Gallick. Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home in Ozark, (334) 774-4551, is in charge of arrangements.
