More detail on this person: Arlie M. Grigg Arlie M. Grigg, Lt. Col. US Army Retired, age 82 of Hampden Township, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at his home. Born April 28, 1928 in Nilwood, IL he was a son of the late Samuel and Pluma Mason Grigg. He was a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Army, having served two tours of duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Mililani Baptist Church in Hawaii. Surviving are his wife Ferne R. (Heffelfinger) Grigg, a son Paul B. Grigg and his wife Mary Jane, a daughter Vickie H. Coleman all of Mechanicsburg, three grandchildren, Heather Foley and husband Timothy, Stephanie Grigg and Britt Coleman, two great granddaughters Alexandra and Juliana Foley, two sisters Elsie Whitten of Illinois and Erma Bitzer of Arizona and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg, where there will be a viewing from 10:00 a.m. Burial with full military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3544 North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
