Devoted father of Monica A. Gage. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Winant and Charlotte Gage. A Marine of over 30 years service and a Naval Aviator whose personal decorations include Legion of Merit w/gold star; Air Medal with numeral 25; Navy Commendation Medal w/1 star and combat "V". Graduate of the US Naval Academy, US Naval Postgraduate School, Command & General Staff College, Leavenworth, KS, and the Natl. War College. Member of Knights of Columbus, Council No. 6153; avid fly fisherman and NY sports fan. Friends may call at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home 9902 Braddock Rd. Fairfax, VA on Wednesday, February 9, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 10 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 7600 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield, VA at 11 a.m. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery with Full Military Honors at a later date.
