More detail on this person: Joe Weldon Garrett, 80, passed away Saturday January 13, 2018. Funeral: 4 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Biggers Funeral Home. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Joe was born November 24, 1937 in Pilot Point to Wesley and Bessie Garrett. He served as a helicopter pilot in the United States Army. Survivors: Wife Barbara; children, Kenny, Sheri, Deborah, John, Keith, and Curtis; two brothers, one sister, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
