More detail on this person: GARRETT, MICHAEL L. GARRETT, MICHAEL L., 46, of 1412 47th Ave. NE, St. Petersburg, formerly of Tampa, died Thursday (Dec. 10, 1987). Born in Georgia, he came here in 1986 from Wichita, Kan., where he was an auditor for the U.S. Government and was a member of the Scottish Rite and Midian Temple Shrine. A Tampa resident from 1980 to 1983, he was a member of the American Legion, Tampa, and the National Sojourners Tampa Chapter 252 in Tampa. Locally he was an auditor for the Defense Contract Audit Agency, St. Petersburg. He was Protestant. A veteran of Vietnam, he served in the Army for about 25 years. He was a member of Oregon Military Lodge 936 AF&AM, Frankfurt, West Germany, and the Retired Officers Association. Survivors include his wife, Ruth S.; tw o daughters, Susan Elizabeth Garrett, St. Petersburg, and Regina Garrett, Rome, Ga.; two sons, Gregory, California, and Kerry, Rome; three brothers, Carl, Kentucky, Kenneth, Rome, and Wesley, Atlanta, and one grandchild.
