More detail on this person: LTC Gary W. Gaston,U.S. Army, Ret., age 67 of Biloxi, Mississippi died Thursday, Feb 2, 2012 in Houston, Texas. He was born in Cuxhaven, Germany and came to the United States at a very early age. He distinguished himself with military service to his country in the U. S. Army and retired after completing 27 years of active duty. He earned both the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star as a medivac helicopter pilot in Vietnam. He was the past president of the Biloxi Kiwanis Club, as well as a commissioner for the Coast Transit Authority and Biloxi Taxi Cab board.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Gaston of Biloxi, and their two children. Burial was held on February 10th at the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society . Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com
