More detail on this person: William R. "Bill" Graham GRAHAM, WILLIAM R. "BILL" 64, beloved husband, father and friend, passed away Friday, September 26, 2008 at U of L Hospital, after a long battle with Lymphoma. He was surrounded by his family. Bill was born in Oakland, CA and grew up in South Dakota. He moved to Louisville, where he retired from Lennox Industries as a territory manager. His passion for family, friends and life will be for what he is remembered most. His zest for life was seen in his love for animals, travel, hunting, golf and horse racing. Bill's Catholic faith gave him strength through his illness and was evident through all his charitable contributions. Bill was a proud American. He served his country as a Marine Corps captain and helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. Bill was a member of the Middletown V.F.W. Post #1170, Hurstbourne Country Club and St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Graham and Dolores Graham Walsh. Bill is survived by his wife, Sandy Graham; daughters, Kerry Graham Summers and Tracy Graham Spalding (Dean); grandchildren, Graham Summers, Kaley Spalding and Reece Spalding; stepbrothers, Tom and John Walsh; stepsisters, Pam Fritz, Debbie Purtell, Cindy Walsh, Beth Payson and Sister Meg Walsh. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 7813 Shelbyville Road, with interment in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Foreman's, 10600 Taylorsville Road, Jeffersontown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to Mass of the Air or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 600 E. Main St., Louisville, KY
