More detail on this person: 2 Copter Crash Victims Named NEW RIVER (AP) - The Marine Corps has released the names of two of the four crewmen killed in Tuesday night's crash of a helicopter on Emerald Isle, which is separated from the mainland by Bogue Sound west of Morehead City. They were the pilot, 1st Lt. Joseph Gulvas, 26, of Iselin, N.J., and Lance Cpl. James Taylor, 20, of Seattle, Wash. Identities of the other two crewmen killed have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin. The helicopter crashed and burned in a wooded area of the island.
