More detail on this person: Lt. Col. Geer Lt. Col. William Ashbury Geer, Jr., U.S. Army (ret.), 47, of Falls Church, Va., died Friday at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. Graveside services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery in Marietta with full military honors. Survivors include one daughter, Juliette Lee Geer, Dawson; two sons, Victor William Geer and Robert Bruce Geer both of Dawson; mother, Mrs. Jeffery Durance, Pahokee, Fla.; two sisters, Rebecca Geer, Atlanta and Amy Geer, Marietta; two brothers, Dr. Melvin F. Geer, Brunswick and Jeffrey Ross Geer, Georgetown, S.C.; step-mother Nell A. Geer, Marietta. Albert M. Dobbins Funeral Home of Marietta in charge of arrangements.
