More detail on this person: John P. Gillen Sr. Of West Yarmouth, formerly of Malden, Feb. 17th. Beloved husband of the late Grace E. (Montague) Gillen. Devoted father of Joan G. Boughan and her husband Edward A. Boughan of Andover and the late Major John P. "Pat" Gillen Jr. & his wife Gertraud E. Gillen of S. Weymouth. Loving brother of Sarah Harrington of Moultonboro, NH and the late Hugh Gillen and Grace Powers. Grandfather of Mark P. Gillen of S. Weymouth, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Weir Mac Cuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. MALDEN on Wed., Feb. 21, 2007 at 9:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St, Malden at 10:30AM. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. Contributions in John's memory may be made to the John Patrick "Pat" Gillen Jr. Scholarship Fund, C/O Malden High School, 25 Salem St. Malden, MA 02148. Late US Army, Veteran WW II. Interment service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, Wednesday, afternoon at 1:45 PM.
