Hofer, 59, of Carefree, Arizona, died suddenly on December 26, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Pam; and sons, Jeff, Kevin, Ryan, and Daniel; mother, Lucille Hofer; brother, George; and sisters, Shirl and Betty. Tom graduated from Everett High in 1965. He served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot in Korea and Vietnam, then seven years in Sierra Leone, Africa with the United Nations. He was most recently the Managing Director of Calibrus Inc, Phoenix, Arizona. Tom's passions included family, flying, sports and the outdoors - hunting fishing and boating. He loved life and he loved those who loved life too. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2006, at Solie Funeral Home Chapel. Military honors and interment will take place at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) Association, Evergreen Chapter, 6627 So. 191st Place, Kent, WAashington 98032.
