More detail on this person: Obituary for Bobby Lee Holtzclaw Bobby Lee Holtzclaw, 82, of Clark passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his home. Bobby Lee was born to James Washington "Jack" and Myrtle Helen (O'Neal) Holtzclaw on December 6, 1931 in Fayette, Missouri. He married Bonnie June Stein on July 19, 1952 in Higbee, Missouri. Bobby Lee began his service career in the United States Army on August 26, 1952 where he served during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a highly decorated helicopter Pilot and served as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 until his retirement on October 31, 1974. He was a member in good standing with the Vietnam Helicopter Pilots Association. After his military career, Bobby Lee was an instructor at Linn Technical College in Linn, Mo. He also taught pilot lessons in the Moberly area. He was a charter member of the VFW in Higbee, MO, lifelong member of the VFW, a member of the Eagles, and was a supporter of the Disabled American Veterans and St. Jude's Hospital with his financial contributions. He loved to fish and travel with his wife. The Party Line will surely miss "South Renick" and his phone calls. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie June Holtzclaw; son, Bill Holtzclaw, and infant sister, Helen Holtzclaw. Bobby Lee is survived by his sons: Thomas and wife Melanie (Larkin) Holtzclaw of Moberly, and David Allen Holtzclaw of the family home in Clark; daughter-in-law, Lynn (Peeler) Holtzclaw of Fayette; brother, James Wallace Holtzclaw of Higbee; sister, Doris Ann (Holtzclaw) Hayes of Higbee; grandchildren: Emily Holtzclaw, Nathan Holtzclaw, Brennan Holtzclaw, Caitlin Holtzclaw, Danielle Conklin, Billie D. Holtzclaw, Zacch Montrey, Addie Boyler, Whitney Taylor; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 4:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 10:00 a.m with Father Phil Niekamp officiating at the Million Taylor Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in rural Clark. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
