More detail on this person: Billy Ray Holt Mr. Holt, 76 of Benton, died Friday at Marshall County Hospital. A retired U.S. Army aviator, he was recipient of the Bronze Star medal. He was a a member of VFW Post No. 1084; Elks Lodge No. 2707; the Lions Club; the Benton T.L. Jefferson Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner. He is survived by one son and one granddaughter, both of Benton. Preceded in death by 3 sisters. His parents were Lake and Irena Beggs Holt. Services were in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home with Shriner rites on Sunday. Burial with military rites took place on Monday.
