He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty; a son, Gary Helfenberger; a daughter, Kara Helfenberger and sisters, Alene Miller and Evelyn Hicks. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 27, from 4:30 until time of service at 6 p.m. at the DEMAINE SPRINGFIELD ANNANDALE CHAPEL, Backlick and Edsall Roads.
