More detail on this person: Harold J. Hutsell, 77, of Anderson, passed away on October 9, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on September 11, 1941 in Hammond, and resided in Anderson since 1970. Harold graduated from Crown Point High School, and Cum Laude from University of Alabama, and he served his country in the Army during Vietnam War, achieving the rank of 1st Lieutenant, and he received the Distinguished Flying Cross Metal. He retired from Fisher Guide Division of General Motors. He was a member of Vietnam Veterans Helicopter Association. He enjoyed shooting skeet, guns of any kind, traveling, watching movies, riding motorcycles, and programming computers. Most of all, he loved his family and God. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Hutsell of Anderson; son, Joseph (Hayley) Hutsell; daughter, Jo Ann (Michael) Allison; grandson, Steve Mills; and his granddaughter, Haley Jones. He was preceded in death his mother, Maxine Hutsell; and his father, Joseph Hubert Hutsell. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 13, 2018, 9:30 am - 11:30 am at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street Anderson. Services will be at 11:30 am, Saturday, October 13, 2018, at the funeral home, with Rev. Walt Weaver Jr. officiating. Burial will take place in Marion National Cemetery, on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent's Hospice.
