More detail on this person: HUSEREK, JOHN F. HUSEREK, JOHN F., 56 - of Northfield, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, April 22, 2005 after a short bout with cancer. John was a Veteran of the U.S. Army First Cavalry division as a pilot. He served two times in Vietnam and one in Pakistan for earthquake relief. John was also a member of the VFW of Absecon. John's hobbies of fishing and hunting were shared with his friends including dart tournaments. He enjoyed cookouts in the yard where he was the special chef! He especially enjoyed seeing people eat! He enjoyed having people over and preparing his special dishes for them which included BBQ Chicken and fried chicken the way only John could do it. He also enjoyed making his daughter great breakfasts. He was a kind and gentle man and a friend of many. He will be greatly missed. John is survived by his very special and devoted wife, Nancy and daughter, Jennifer, stepson John Bates and stepson Capt. Darren Bates and his wife, Greta, and three grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters: Lillian Justis and her husband, Norris of Belleplain, N.J., Dorinda Quinn of Vineland, N.J., Druscilla Griffin and her husband, Tom of Ellenton, FL, his stepbrother, Daniel Tedone of Salinas, CA, and many nieces and nephews, and two very special newphes, Brian and Pat. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, N.J. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor. Arrangements by Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes, Northfield and Pleasantville, N.J.
