Tim Harristhal's aviation career included four
years in the U.S. Army serving as a warrant
officer/helicopter pilot in Vietnam, and an
instructor pilot at Fort Rucker in Alabama.
During his combat tour of duty in Vietnam, Tim was
awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
His career at the FAA spanned 21 years and in
various roles, including principal operations
inspector for TWA. Tim enjoyed telling stories of
his days flying a Dehavilland Beaver to supply
fishing and camping outfitters in the Canadian
boundary waters.
Tim is survived by his wife, Margaret, and
children Joseph, Benjamin, Rebecca, Jessica and
Elizabeth.

died on Sunday, July 18, 2010 at the age of 62.
Loving husband of Margaret Harristhal (nee:
Kalgren); beloved son of Therese and the late
Thomas Harristhal; devoted father of Joseph
(Deborah) Harristhal, Benjamin (Jeannine)
Harristhal, Rebecca (Marco) Merchiori, Jessica
(Don) Grier, Elizabeth Harristhal and dear
companion Pal; cherished grandfather of Logan,
Mackenzie, Hannah, Nicholas, Thomas, Zachary,
Samuel, Adam, Max, Sydney and Scott; dear
brother of Annie Nistler, Mike Harristhal, Pat
Harristhal and Chris Harristhal. Tim was a loving
uncle, cousin and friend to many and will be
missed dearly by all. Services: The family is
being served by The BAUE Funeral and Memorial
Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO
where visitation will be held Wednesday, July 21,
2010 4:00 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2010 at
St. Peter Catholic Church, 324 South Third Street,
St. Charles, MO. Interment Jefferson Barracks
National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to
American Cancer Society.
