More detail on this person: Lt. Colonel Lyle Clark Harrison, USA, Retired, passed away Friday morning. He was born June 30, 1941, a son of the late Clark and Virginia Harrison. LTC Harrison retired from U.S. Army after 27 years of active service. He served two years in Vietnam, was a helicopter pilot and awarded three Distinguished Flying Crosses. Following his service to our country, he was a realtor for Remax. He enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his wife: Frankie Harrison; three sons and daughters-in-law: Kevin and Valerie Harrison, Chris and Sherrí Harrison, and Jon and Lisa Harrison; grandchildren: Andrew, Elizabeth, Taylor, Kristen, Alyssa and Kyle; a great-granddaughter, Tatum; a sister: Barbara Harrison; nieces: Heather, Brenda, and Terra; and a nephew: Thomas. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel with the Rev. Chip Winstead officiating. Interment will follow in River Hill Cemetery.
