More detail on this person: Paul Enos Harvey, Jr., 80, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away due to complications from renal failure on April 14, 2023. Paul was born on March 10, 1943, in Carl Junction, Missouri, to the late Paul Enos Harvey, Sr., and Rachel (McCann) Harvey. He graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1961. Paul married Glena Mae Royer on July 1, 1967, in Carthage, Missouri. He was commissioned in the US Army as a 2nd Lieutenant in August 1968. A Vietnam veteran, Paul retired from the US Army in 1988 after 20 years of honorable service, attaining the rank of Major. His Army service included time as a helicopter pilot with the 57th AHC Gladiators. Paul's military awards included the Purple Heart, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, and Meritorious Service Medal. He proudly served as President of the Carl Junction Alumni Association and Treasurer of the Four State Chapter of MOAA. Survivors include his children: one daughter, Christina M. Bell (David), Murrieta, California; two sons, Paul Harvey (Donna), Culver City, California; and Keith Harvey (Lyncca), Fort Worth, Texas. He leaves behind three grandchildren, Ethan Bell, Brenna Bell, and Trent Harvey. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Glena Mae Harvey, in 2018. A celebration of life will be held privately. Memorial gifts may be made to the Carl Junction Alumni Association Scholarship fund.
